Privacy Policy

Zentrox Home ("Zentrox", "we", "us") helps homeowners track their connected devices, schedule maintenance, and connect with service providers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Zentrox you agree to the practices described here.
1. Account Information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and (if you choose) profile photo, address, and phone number. If you sign in with Google we receive your basic profile and email from Google. We use this to authenticate you, personalize your experience, and contact you about the service.
2. Device Data
To power your home dashboard we store information about devices you add: name, brand, model, serial/asset numbers, room/location, install date, warranty info, notes, and any maintenance reminders you create. This data is associated with your account and used to generate reminders, AI summaries, and provider context.
3. Uploaded Photos
You may upload photos of devices, labels, receipts, or your home. These images are stored in our secure file storage and may be processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini) to extract device details (e.g. OCR of model/serial numbers). Photos are only accessible to you and to a service provider you explicitly share a request with.
4. Messages & Support Chats
When you message a service provider through Zentrox, we store the message content, timestamps, and attachments to deliver the conversation in real time and to maintain your history. Support chats with our team are stored for quality and troubleshooting.
5. Subscription & Billing Information
Paid plans (Plus, Pro) are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe provides us with a customer ID, last-four digits, billing country, and invoice history so we can manage your subscription, calculate tax, and show your billing page. 6. AI Search & AI-Generated Content
Zentrox uses AI (Google Gemini via the Lovable AI Gateway) to: search and identify devices, generate device images, extract text from photos, and suggest maintenance reminders. Your queries, uploaded photos, and device descriptions may be sent to the AI provider strictly to produce results for you. We do not sell your data to AI providers for model training.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We use a small number of trusted vendors to operate Zentrox:
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage, and realtime messaging. Hosted on secure infrastructure. supabase.com/privacy
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing. stripe.com/privacy
- Google / Gemini — AI search, image generation, OCR, and Google Sign-In. policies.google.com/privacy
8. Data Storage & Security
Data is stored in encrypted databases and object storage. Connections use HTTPS/TLS. Access to your records is enforced by row-level security so that only you (and any provider you explicitly share a request with) can read your data. We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
9. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You can edit your profile, change preferences, or delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your devices, conversations, photos, reminders, and cancels any active subscription. You may also email us to request access, correction, or export of your data.
10. Children
Zentrox is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
